Championship Information

Ireland Celebrate The RBS 6 Nations is 'Rugby's Greatest Championship' and the 2017 edition once again sees fans of six proud nations - England, France, Ireland, Italy, Scotland and Wales - enjoy a feast of rugby with fixtures taking place over five weekends in February and March.

The third round of the 2017 Championship begins in Edinburgh, where Scotland face Wales. The action then moves to Dublin, where Ireland take on France in a Saturday evening clash. Lastly, England and Italy will meet at Twickenham on Sunday in the third match.

Saturday 25 February: Scotland v Wales - 2.25pm, BT Murrayfield, Edinburgh

Both teams are still in the running for the Championship but this match could determine who goes into the final two weekends with their chance for glory still intact. Edinburgh is one of the most popular destinations for Welsh fans so the BT Murrayfield should see a cracking atmosphere as the two sides battle it out on Saturday afternoon.

Saturday 25 February: Ireland v France - 4.50pm, Aviva Stadium, Dublin

Ireland and France have suffered a defeat already but neither will have given up hopes of making a Championship bid just yet. This has been a battle royale in recent years and Dublin could witness another high-intensity classic as a rejuvenated France take on an Ireland team with some key men returning to contend for selection.

Sunday 26 February: England v Italy - 3pm, Twickenham Stadium, Twickenham

England have continued their winning streak with victories in their two opening RBS 6 Nations fixtures. Can Eddie Jones' men make it three from three? Italy will be bidding to ensure they don't with Conor O'Shea's men bidding to become the first Italian team to earn a victory over the men in white.
