Sean Lineen
Lineen hails back row
8 December 2007, 11:07 am
By PA Sport
Glasgow coach Sean Lineen hailed his all-Scottish back row as the best in Britain after the Warriors beat Cardiff 17-5.
Scotland fly-half Dan Parks stole the show with all 17 points, including Glasgow's sole try, as they swept to a convincing victory at Firhill.

But Lineen reserved special praise for Parks' international team-mates John Barclay, Johnnie Beattie and Kelly Brown.

“I thought Barclay, Beattie and Brown were outstanding,' the former Scotland star said.

“If there is a better back-row in Britain right now, then I’ve yet to see it.”

Lineen added:  “The defence was outstanding. It was a very professional approach from the guys and there was a lot of pride there.'
