Philip Doyle has led Ireland Women to a first-ever RBS 6 Nations title but has his sights set on the Grand Slam
Doyle makes two changes as Ireland Women hunt Grand Slam

Philip Doyle has made two changes to his starting XV as he bids to secure a first-ever RBS 6 Nations Grand Slam title for Ireland Women with victory in Milan.
Ireland head to Italy for Sunday’s clash safe in the knowledge that with four victories under their belt they have already wrapped up a maiden RBS 6 Nations crown.

But a fifth and final win against Italy would make it a clean sweep and head coach Doyle welcomes Grace Davitt into the centre, in place of Jenny Murphy who picked up a hamstring injury in the victory over France, and Niamh Kavanagh onto the wing, with Ashleigh Baxter dropping to the bench, in order to do just that.

Heather O'Brien and Shannon Houston have been included in the replacements and Doyle insists he will be taking nothing for granted despite taking an unbeaten side to Italy.

"It's a testament to Ross Callaghan's strength and conditioning of the squad that we have got this far without injury,” he said.

"Unfortunately Jenny picked up a knock in the last game and she is missing this weekend but it's great that we have the depth in the squad that we can call on Grace to easily slip into the starting lineup.

"We know it's a huge task ahead of us this weekend an there is a lot of expectation on our shoulders but at the end of the day it's a game of rugby that we have to go out to win and it will be treated as another international match that the team are well up for.

"Italy has shown in their past matches that they are very resilient and without doubt will be a huge task for our girls to break them down."
