West gives Miller the nod for Wales clash

By Sportsbeat
Ireland coach Kevin West has called up centre Alison Miller from the bench for the RBS 6 Nations clash with Wales.
Miller was a replacement in the 22-5 defeat to England last time out but has got the nod to start this time around in a number of changes to the backline.

Leinster’s Grace Davitt has been switched to the left wing while Amy Davis has moved across onto the right flank.

Navan’s Sinead Ryan has received her first call of this year’s tournament with a place on the bench while Shannon Houston and Nora Stapleton have also been named as replacements.

West will be hoping his team return to winning ways after back-to-back defeats to France and England followed the opening round win over Wales.

Ireland Women’s team to play Wales Women: Niamh Briggs, Amy Davis, Joanne O'Sullivan, Grace Davitt, Alison Miller, Helen Brosnan, Tania Rosser, Fiona Coghlan, Chris Fanning, Lauren Day, Kate O'Loughlin, Marie Louise Reilly, Orla Brennan, Claire Molloy, Joy Neville.

Replacements:
Gillian Bourke, Louise Austin, Carol Staunton, Sinead Ryan, Louise Beamish, Shannon Houston, Nora Stapleton.
