North crossed the whitewash in the win over France
North eyeing exciting brand of rugby against Scotland

George North believes this weekend's RBS 6 Nations trip to Scotland will finally give Wales the chance to play the attacking rugby they have come accustomed to in recent years.
Last year’s Grand Slam winners arrived at this year’s Championship on a torrid run and it continued in the opening fixture against Ireland with the men in green returning from the Millennium Stadium with a 30-22 win.

Wales bounced back from that result to grind out a surprise victory in France, with North’s match-winning try the difference, before they beat Italy 26-9 at a rain swept Stadio Olimpico.

And while the Scarlets wing is happy Wales have returned to winning ways, he is desperate to add some flair to proceedings at Murrayfield this weekend.

“Obviously the last two weeks have been great team performances for us, although they haven’t necessarily been the greatest spectacles to watch,” he said.

“Hopefully will get a bit more time and we want the chance to throw the ball around. Hopefully the weather will be with us.

“I have been massively frustrated sometimes, but it has been down to where we are on the pitch and what is happening in the game.

“You can’t let yourself get too frustrated. I will keep working hard to put myself in the right places at the right time.

“Maybe the first four times it won’t come to me, but on the fifth it will.

“You have to be patient – bide your time and it will come.

“The potential is there for this to be a really open game and for us to click.

“We are both similar outfits in that we have big, physical guys who can take it up and then we have the options to throw it wide.

“The way we are playing and the way they are playing, this could be a very good, fast Test match.”
