His last appearance for RBS 6 Nations Grand Slam champions Wales came in the 30-21 victory over Barbarians in June 2011 but he’s given coach Warren Gatland food for thought ahead of Wales’ clash against Argentina on November 10.

But rather than talk about adding to his ten caps, Biggar claims the best thing to do is concentrate on his performances for his club.

“I'm just playing as well as I can for the Ospreys. It really isn't in my mind about Wales,” he said.

"It's about winning games for the Ospreys, which we have been lucky enough to do.

"I'm enjoying myself and that's probably taken a little bit of pressure off myself in terms of thinking, 'I have to play every week to get back in for Wales’.

"That's not in the picture for me at the minute. I'm really just concentrating on the Ospreys. If I get a Wales call, top of the world.

"If that comes then it's a great achievement and something I will treasure. The main thing for me is picking points up for the Ospreys and repaying the faith the Ospreys have shown in me.”
