Having won his 50th cap against South Africa in the autumn, the Abercrave product is firmly established as one of the best tightheads in European rugby. He is a solid scrummager and shows a good work-rate around the field. He has some deft touches not typical of front row play but he does the basics well and his ability to anchor the scrum is key to Warren Gatland's side.
