Also crossing for the visitors were Owen Williams (2), Ben John, Kirby Myhil and Rob Evans.
Morgan opened the scoring with a penalty before outside centre Williams smashed his way through the Italian defence.
Stand-off Morgan converted and was soon repeating the process as he slotted the extras for his own score.
But Italy rallied and when Wales prop Will Taylor was red carded for a headbutt, scrum-half Guglielmo Palazzani slotted a penalty to reduce the deficit to 17-3.
That though was brief respite for the hosts and, prop Rob Evans barged over from close range to keep Wales flying.
Moments before the break Italian winger Leonardo Sarto did lift the home fans' spirits with a well worked score that was converted by Palazzani.
Normal service resumed soon after the break when home fly-half Luca Morisi was binned and Morgan struck with a penalty.
Arguably the try of the night was then scored by Williams as he scored his way down the touchline having handed off several Italian defenders.
There was still time for hooker Myhill to get in the act along with replacement John late on while Italy got their second score of the night through Amar Kudin.
