Montpellier winger Pierre Bérard scored one try and was involved in another as France Under-20s outclassed Ireland 38-13 in Athlone to make it two wins out of two in the RBS 6 Nations.
Philippe Sella's side ran in six tries for the second consecutive game as Toulouse fly-half Jean-Marc Doussain again impressed.
Ireland had got off to a bright start as they took the lead after just two minutes thanks to a penalty from Ulster's Paddy Jackson.
But France reacted straightaway with a try from Yann Lesgourgues as he exchanged passes with Bérard although there were suspicions of a forward pass.
The French added two more tries before the break through full back Geoffrey Palis and Bérard who barged over to help the visitors to a 21-6 half-time lead.
And France came flying out of the blocks in the second half with tries from Marvin O´Connor and Romain Colliat.
The home side then gave the Athlone crowd something to cheer about scoring a try of their own through captain Niall Annett who bulldozed over from close range.
But having been reduced to uncontested scrums due to injuries in the front row, Ireland conceded one final try.
The French piled on the pressure in the Irish 22 before spreading the ball wide to Jules Plisson.
The Stade Français centre went over in the corner to seal a convincing win for Les Bleuets ahead of their clash with England in two weeks time.
