Rowan confident England Under 20 experience will prove the difference.

Leeds Carnegie flanker Jacob Rowan believes England's under-20 side are benefitting from having so many players with Guinness Premiership experience.
Mark Mapletoft’s side won their opening two RBS 6 Nations fixtures against Wales and Italy before their Grand Slam hopes were ended following a 22-10 reverse at the hands of Ireland on February 27.

But with the Championship still very much alive, with three teams locked on four points and Scotland and France on three with two games to go, Rowan is confident England’s experience will see them lift the Six Nations crown.

“There are a lot of players who have been involved with their clubs this season and have got experience of playing in the Guinness Premiership,” said Rowan.

“That can only be good for English rugby that young English players are getting regular game time in a competitive league.

“Whatever players can learn at their clubs and bring to the table is going to be beneficial to us.

“Our coaches didn’t really set any specific targets for us before the tournament, we just want to concentrate on our performances.

“We have got a great set of coaches here who have been brilliant with us and they have helped us all a lot to work better as a team and I hope that is going to show on the pitch.”

England travel to Glasgow to face Scotland in their next fixture before ending their Six Nations campaign with a trip to France on March 21.
