Winger Darren Hudson raced in for a hat-trick in Ireland's Under-20s ruthless 39-0 defeat of their Italian counterparts.
Allen Clarke's side crossed six times in total with centre pairing Nevin Spence and Brendan Macken along with wing Simon Zebo also getting in on the act.
Fly-half James McKinney got the ball rolling as he made amends for an early penalty miss when he slotted three points on eight minutes.
Hudson opened the floodgates on 19 minutes when he scooped full-back Andrew Conway's grubber kick off the ground before touching down in the corner.
Ireland were now rampant and the only surprise was that the home side could only add one more score before the break when McKinney set up Spence for a 13-0 halftime lead.
The start of the second half saw Ireland quickly stretch their advantage - first through Zebo's thundering run and then by Hudson's second on 52 minutes, McKinney was again the creator.
With the game effectively put to bed, it took until the last eight minutes for Ireland to complete their rout.
On 72 minutes Hudson completed his treble of scores as he took Conway's offload on the charge to scorch over in the corner before Macken finished off proceedings with a brilliant individual try.
