Last year's RBS 6 Nations Player of the Championship gets onto the shortlist once more this season as Stuart Hogg once again proved to be one of the biggest threats in the game.
Electric in the opening game against Ireland, Hogg ran in two first-half tries, showing his pace and his trickery in Scotland's 27-22 win.
He added another try in Paris, albeit in a losing cause, and he was also influential in the win over Wales in Round Three.
His early departure due to injury against England was keenly felt at Twickenham, but he bounced back to play a leading role in the win over Italy in the Championship finale.
He set up two tries in that game, while also playing a key role in defence as Scotland rounded out their campaign with a 29-0 win.
