The funeral of the Neath rugby player, Gareth Jones, will take place at Glyntaff Crematorium in Pontypridd on Monday June 23 at 1.30pm.
He passed away peacefully at the University Hospital of Wales on Monday, June 16 where he was being treated for a serious neck injury suffered in a Premier Division game for his club against Cardiff at the Arms Park on April the 20th.
The 28-year-old scrum-half played for Glyncoch, Beddau and Pontypridd before making his debut for Neath in 2006.
There is no requirement to dress formally for Gareth's funeral and the wearing of rugby jerseys will be acceptable and appropriate. Family flowers only.
