Italy coach John Kirwan has made one change to his 25-man squad for their final two RBS 6 Nations games against England and France.
L'Aquila full-back Gert Peens has been drafted into the group with Treviso's Walter Pozzebon missing out.
The Azzurri, who have failed to pick up a victory so far in the competition, will resume training on March 6 in Pisa before meeting England at Twickenham on March 12.
Italy complete their tournament with a home match against France on March 19.
