And they now go on to face Les Bleues at Sixways in a fortnight's time after the French ladies also made it two wins out of two with a hard-fought 14-12 success away in Ireland.
"The people who came in did a great job," said Street who handed starts to Georgina Roberts, Heather Fisher, Claire Purdy and Richmond pair Emma Croker and Rowena Burnfield.
"It gives me a selection headache for the France game. We've had injury problems but now we are starting to get everyone coming back in."
Street also welcomed the news England women will return to Twickenham for their six nations match with Scotland on March 13.
The match will kick off after England men's Calcutta Cup match and will be England's first game at HQ since they took on New Zealand in 2009.
"It will be fantastic to play at the home of English rugby again.
"When England play Scotland it is always a big game, and I am sure with the men and the women playing on the same day and at the same venue it will be a passionate and thrilling encounter."
