And they now prepare to face Wales determined to banish the memories of their heartbreaking 31-24 loss in Cardiff a year ago.
The only change to the matchday squad is the addition of hooker Scott Lawson in place of the injured Dougie Hall, while Euan Murray retains his place despite criticism for his role in Scotland's scrum coming off second best in Paris.
"We were disappointed that we did not start the championship with a win against France," said Robinson, who has just signed a contract extension through to the 2015 World Cup.
"We are determined to put that right with an improved performance against Wales.
"Wales showed again last weekend that they are combative and skilful and play for the full 80 minutes and we know we have to be more accurate and ruthless this weekend."
