Harlequins second-row Charlie Matthews is one of three players picked who took part in last year's World Championships in Argentina when England fell at the semi-final stage to Australia.
He is joined by Saracens-bound prop Mako Vunipola and Newcastle No.8 Alex Gray from last year's side, while budding Premiership talents such as Owen Farrell and Elliot Daly are also included.
But despite England's impressive performances in 2011 so far, Hunter is adamant that when they come to face Ireland again in their first game of the tournament in Treviso, all past form will count for nothing.
"The Junior World Championships are a very different competition to the Six Nations," he said. "There are a lot of games in a relatively short amount of time.
"The first one against Ireland, when everyone is fresh, will be very tough. No matter who rocks up in an Ireland shirt, they will always play with incredible pride, and incredible passion."
"We're very happy with the 26 selected. It wasn't easy to narrow it down, we had a lot of competition, but a lot of the lads played well throughout the 6 Nations and deserve their seat on the plane to Italy.
"It's a real shame for both Jamie Elliott and Kieran Low who both miss out unfortunately, they both performed really well throughout the 6 Nations and it's up to the guys who have come in to reproduce that form."
