Head coach Eddie O'Sullivan has recalled eight players to Ireland's training squad for their RBS 6 Nations match against France in Paris.
The eight players - forwards Reggie Corrigan, Mick O'Driscoll, Anthony Foley and Neil Best, plus backs Denis Hickie, Girvan Dempsey, John Kelly and Barry Murphy - were all named in Ireland's original RBS 6 Nations party but omitted from the squad which beat Italy.
O'Sullivan has no major injury concerns following the 26-16 victory.
Lock Paul O'Connell has a bruised hip, and number eight Denis Leamy suffered a dead leg - but neither problem is serious enough to keep the players from training.
As head coach Stuart Lancaster polishes the axe he will soon wield over his World Cup training squad, Exeter Chiefs coach Rob Baxter has backed Jack Nowell, Henry Slade and Luke Cowan-Dickie to be given a stay of execution.
Italy Under-20s held off a late Samoa blitz to retain their place in the World Rugby U20 Championship on Saturday and head coach Alessandro Troncon believes the experience will have served as a valuable lesson for his young troops.
