Kelly Brown endured a difficult RBS 6 Nations campaign with Scotland
Saracens boss Mark McCall was full of praise for Kelly Brown after the Scotland flanker played a key role in helping the London club into the Premiership final.
Brown scored a crucial try towards the end of the first half and ran Billy Vunipola close for the man-of-the-match award as Saracens now prepare for back-to-back finals with their European clash with Toulon this weekend.
Brown endured a difficult RBS 6 Nations in which he was dropped from the Scotland matchday squad but McCall only had kind words for his openside flanker.
"Kelly is a wonderful player," said McCall. "I said to him after the match 'have you got quicker?'
"People see him as a more defensive player, a bit of a stopper, but on the ball on Saturday he was as good as anyone.
"I am so chuffed for him. His season for Scotland was a tough one. He is a great person to have around the place."
