He missed out against Wales but returned to score a try in a thumping 52-5 win over Italy but is now back with Bristol and focusing on matters in hand.
"It's nice to be back with Bristol now, and to be able to fully focus on Bristol and what we are trying to do in the Championship," he said.
"It's also nice to catch up with the lads and to have my mind set on one thing, rather than switching from squad to squad.
"During the Six Nations, I came back and played for Bristol and then went back to the England squad, so it's good to be able to have just the one focus now.
"I had quite a lot to think about during the Six Nations and I've just got back, so, over the next month or so, we will just see what happens.
"The key is to not let it bother you while you're on the pitch - to put it to the back of your mind and focus on your rugby."
