Ireland's Rugby Team returns to Homecoming at Dublin's Mansion House
Ireland's victorious Grand Slam winning Rugby Team will be greeted by fans at a Home Coming Reception to be held outside the Mansion House on Dawson Street, Dublin on Sunday (22nd March) at 4.30pm. Dublin's Lord Mayor Eibhlin Byrne was delighted to give the IRFU the opportunity to avail of this historic venue to pay tribute to our rugby heroes in marking this truly great achievement.
The Team and Management will arrive into Dublin Airport and proceed directly to the Mansion House where they will take to a stage specially erected for the occasion across Dawson Street. Entry to the reception will be via Nassau Street only and those wishing to attend are advised to arrive no later than 4.00pm.
• Media wishing to attend the Reception must produce their NUJ membership cards at the junction of St. Stephens Green and Dawson Street by 4.00pm. Camera crews and photographers will only be allowed access at this point.
• Please note that there will be vision only media opportunities at Dublin airport.
• Dawson Street will be closed to traffic for the duration of Sunday, 22nd March.
England flanker James Haskell insists he will be pushing as hard as possible to be back from a toe injury in time to make his case for a spot in Eddie Jones' side looking to defend their RBS 6 Nations title next year.
