The Saracens fly-half kicked just three points in the match as Wales destroyed England in the second half - and Farrell revealed he's determined not to make the same mistakes again.
"When I got back home I watched it straight away," he said.
"I wanted to get it out of the way and learn from it. Every game is an opportunity to make yourself a better player by watching it back and seeing what you did right and wrong.
"It was no different with that game, even though it was gutting to watch. I've looked back at it and tried to take what I can from it but you have to move on and get ready for what's ahead of you.
"I was gutted after the game and I was drained from it too. You just get away from it and start thinking about the next weekend and the next game, then every now and again it just kind of catches you and you feel gutted again."
