France vice-captain and Pau number eight Imanol Harinordoquy is expected to announce on Thursday that he has signed for Biarritz.
The 24-year-old has not yet confirmed where he will play next season but it is believed that he will link up with France team-mates Serge Betsen, Thomas Lievremont, Dimitri Yachvili, Julien Peyrelongue, Nicolas Brusque, and Jerome Thion at Biarritz.
Harinordoquy, who is currently out of action with a foot injury, announced: "I will give a press conference on Thursday at 5pm to talk about my future."
Pau president Andre Lestortes said: "Imanol has asked us to lend him a room at the Hameau stadium to make a press conference.
"I spoke to him and the only thing I can tell you is that Imanol, whose contract with us ends in June, has not re-signed with us.
"This probably means that the Biarritz thing is confirmed."
Harinordoquy's Pau team-mate Damien Traille also recently joined Biarritz.
England flanker James Haskell insists he will be pushing as hard as possible to be back from a toe injury in time to make his case for a spot in Eddie Jones' side looking to defend their RBS 6 Nations title next year.
