Philippe Saint-Andre
Philippe Saint-Andre is looking for his team to put their opening RBS 6 Nations defeats to Italy and Wales behind them against England
Saint-Andre: England game our Grand Slam

France coach Phillppe Saint-Andre is relishing the opportunity to spoil England's chances of an RBS 6 Nations Grand Slam when the two teams meet at Twickenham on Saturday.
Following impressive performances in the autumn internationals, including a 33-6 victory over Australia, France lost their two opening Six Nations games against Italy and Wales and are out of the running to win the Championship.

And despite aiming for an improvement on last year’s fourth place finish, they are now in danger of taking the wooden spoon for the first time since 1957.

However, Saint-Andre is optimistic his team can bounce back against Championship leaders England, who have won their last three matches.

"The England game can be our Grand Slam," said Saint-Andre, who replaced Marc Lievremont as France coach after the 8-7 2011 World Cup final loss to the All Blacks.

"The English are euphoric at the moment. Everyone is favouring them for the Grand Slam and us for the wooden spoon.

"We have to go there full of enthusiasm, confidence and daring.

"We have players who are going to be fresh physically therefore we are going to have good training sessions.

"We are going there totally unrestrained. What a wonderful challenge to be going to Twickenham. I am really eager to be proud of a team that is going to go there and give 120 per cent.”
