For this weekend’s trip to Scotland the only absentee for Brunel is Alberto Sgarbi, the centre injuring his ankle in the France clash.

He is replaced by La Rochelle’s Gonzalo Canale to form a new centre partnership with Tommaso Benvenuti.
France’s tormentor-in-chief Luciano Orquera remains at fly-half while Tobias Botes forms the half-back pairing despite an impressive showing off the bench from Edoardo Gori. 

Andrea Lo Cicero is set to become the second man in Italy’s rugby history to win 100 caps at Murrayfield, one behind all-time record holder Alessandro Troncon, while his front-row partner hooker Leonardo Ghiraldini will win his 50th cap.
