England won't rest on their laurels - Farrell

England fly-half Owen Farrell has warned the rest of the RBS 6 Nations that there is plenty more to come from England after their comfortable win over Scotland on Saturday.
The Twickenham faithful were given much to cheer in the 38-18 victory over the Auld Enemy as England ran in four tries to Scotland’s two.

Farrell, who won the man of the match award for his display at stand-off, added 18 points with the boot as Stuart Lancaster’s side continued where they left off against New Zealand in the autumn.

But for the Saracens man there was still plenty of room for improvement, most markedly in defence, ahead of a testing trip to Dublin next weekend.

“I thought we did some outstanding things, played with some real pace and tempo and our intensity was good,” he said.

“We can be hard on ourselves at the same time, we faltered on a few things and can look to sharpen that up and go forward from here.

“It was great to get back out at Twickenham playing in front of this crowd, they were outstanding.

“This is what international rugby is all about and it’s why we play the game.

“It’s important to keep the scoreboard ticking over, the boys work so hard to win these penalties and you have to reward them by kicking them over.”
