The 34-year-old, who won the RBS 6 Nations three times, including two Grand Slams, has not yet decided whether he will call time on his career or carry on for another season.
He admits there will be a lot of emotion during the game against Grenoble, which Toulouse need to win to guarantee third spot, but he will try not to let it get the better of him.
He said: “There will be a lot of emotions and even if you have to make the most of that, I don’t want that to get the better of me.
“There is still a game to play, a competitive spirit to maintain. The emotions, I’ll have time to think about them afterwards. And hopefully I’ll have at least one more game at Toulouse [in the play-offs].
“I’m approaching the end of my career. I haven’t decided yet, it will depend on the work of my wife Barbara. I have to look at what opportunities I have outside rugby as well.”
