Care: Everyone wants to beat England

Danny Care believes England are the team everyone wants to beat in the RBS 6 Nations - and he's relishing the challenge ahead of Sunday's clash with Ireland in Dublin.
Care and co head to the Aviva Stadium on the back of impressive wins over New Zealand and Scotland but England do not have fond memories of Dublin when it comes to the RBS 6 Nations.

A World Cup warm-up match in 2011 aside, England have not won in Dublin since their 2003 Grand Slam and Care has featured as a replacement in their last two RBS 6 Nations defeats.

Ireland’s victory over Wales in Cardiff last weekend saw Declan Kidney’s side assert their Championship credentials and Care is determined to end his losing streak against the Men in Green on Sunday.

“Everyone seems to dislike us and wants to beat us. That comes with the territory,” said Care.

“Everyone wants to knock you down. We think, bring it on. We look forward to the challenge.

“I've had two experiences there that weren't great, so hopefully we can improve on that. We need to go out there and enjoy ourselves.

“Ireland are a brilliant team, and they showed their class in the first 60 minutes against Wales.

“Any time you play Ireland it's a massive game, with a fantastic buzz around the stadium. All week you're excited. It will be mental over there on Sunday.”
