Saint-Andre's side have been buoyed by their dramatic 26-24 victory over England last weekend, getting their 2014 campaign off to a winning start after the disappointments of last year.
They host an Italy side that has never beaten them in France in RBS 6 Nations history but last year, in Rome, Italy got the better of Les Bleus, running out 23-18 winners.
Indeed, Italy have won the Giuseppe Garibaldi trophy twice in the last three meetings between to two sides, although both victories have come in Rome.
But Saint-Andre has warned his side against getting carried away with last week's win over England.
"We can't start swaggering about because we won one match," he said. "We had a difficult 2013. On the contrary, we need to show the desire to improve, to be more effective and to build on last week by recording a second victory.
"We know that there are no easy matches. The Italians showed us that last year, and they posed a lot of problems to the Welsh in their first match."
