Matt Kvesic
(all stats from 1992 onwards)
Date of Birth:14th Apr 1992
Birthplace:Swansea (Wales)
Position:Back Row
Height:1.85 m (6' 1")
Weight:99 kg (15 st 8 lb)

Six consecutive starts last season illustrate how Matt Kvesic, the England U18 captain against Scotland in April, has made the Number 8 role his own property

A former South West and England U16 player, Matt was born to English parents in Iserlohn, Germany. He took up the game at Swanage & Wareham RFC, then played at schools level for Blundell’s in Tiverton, Devon, and was spotted by Worcester Warriors.

Matt made his first team debut last season against the Scarlets in the LV=Cup and initially combined rugby with A levels in Physical Education, Biology and Business Studies at Worcester Sixth Form College.

He captained Blundell’s, is relishing the atmosphere of Sixways, the home of the Warriors and is on a dual registration this season with Stourbridge, of National One.

While at Blundell’s, Matt toured India with the school cricket team and now enjoys the golf driving range when his studies permit. He missed the England U18 tour to South Africa last July because of his training commitments with his club.
