The uncapped Ian Madigan earns his first call up to an international matchday squad as he is named among the replacements.

The replacement tight head slot has also been confirmed with the uncapped Munster prop Stephen Archer named on the bench.

Jackson endured a mixed senior international debut in the 12-8 defeat to Scotland, impressing in the first half in linking well with Ulster teammate Luke Marshall but missing three of his four kicks at goal.

As a result, Jackson returned to Ulster last weekend and assumed the kicking duties, notching 19 points from the tee and earning the man-of-the-match award in the 29-29 draw with Treviso.

"I was very nervous at the start, obviously there's a lot of pressure going into the game," Jackson told the Belfast Telegraph after the match.

"I missed the first one but once I started to get a few over I just felt much more comfortable. I was happy with the ones I got.

"It's been a long couple of weeks, a bit of a roller-coaster really with emotions and stuff.

"Obviously I was chuffed to get my first cap, I loved it. And if I get another one I'll be even more chuffed."
