Dusautoir refusing to consider another defeat

France captain Thierry Dusautoir admits that considering defeat is not an option as les Bleus go in search of their first victory of this year's RBS 6 Nations.
France are without a win in six straight RBS 6 Nations matches and remain rooted to the foot of the this year’s table, following consecutive defeats to Italy, Wales and England.

Philippe Saint-Andre’s side came in for heavy criticism following their first two defeats but there were palpable signs of improvement against England at Twickenham despite their 23-13 reversal.

And Dusuatoir admits anything other than a victory for his side is not worth contemplating with defeat ensuring the wooden spoon becomes a serious possibility.

“I prefer not to think of a fourth successive loss," Dusautoir told the Irish Independent.

“This is something you do not want to consider and we will do everything so that does not happen. There is a pride to show that we are a team of good rugby players.

“In the end, we must win. The team of France has often been criticised because it won ugly, but she won.

“We realise that victory, whatever the way, is really important. We really want to win, whatever the cost.”
