Warren Gatland's side bounced back to form in round three with a 27-6 victory over France having been humbled by Ireland 26-3 in round two.
England have also lost one of their first three games - an opening round 26-24 loss to France in Paris - but have responded with successive victories over Scotland and Ireland.
The win over Ireland was England's first home game of the competition and Lancaster believes they can again rise to the occasion in front of their home crowd.
"I think it's fantastic to go back to Twickenham," he said.
"There was an unbelievable atmosphere against Ireland and this week will be right up there.
"Hopefully, we'll give performances like we did against Ireland.
"It's a big game and we need to make sure we deliver on the field.
"In the autumn they didn't quite get the results they wanted but, against France, they showed that on their day they can be a world-class team and I'm sure they will come ready."
