Wales and Cardiff Blues wing Tom James had an operation to remove his appendix yesterday (Thursday) afternoon and, after keyhole surgery, is recovering well and expected to be back in training up to 10 days time.
"Tom underwent an appendicectomy yesterday afternoon, the operation has proved successful and the he should be up running within the next fortnight," said Wales team physio Mark Davies.
"This is something that could strike anybody at anytime, but the problem has been dealt with quickly and he is expected to make a speedy recovery."
