Wednesday 27 February – We plan to support Marie Curie’s Mini Pots of Care campaign with a late morning photocall involving a Scotland player in Edinburgh. More details early next week.
Wednesday 27 February – The Scotland under-18 team to play England Under-18 A at the Greenyards, Melrose on Sunday 2 March will be announced by email late morning.
Wednesday 27 February - St Enoch Centre, 55 St Enoch Square, Glasgow, G1 4BW, 2pm - Glasgow Warriors players will be available for interview/photograph alongside the club’s official cheerleaders, the Rockettes, on day one of their two-day stint at the St Enoch Centre as they promote their next home game against reigning Magners League champions, the Ospreys, at Firhill Arena on Friday 29 February (kick-off 7:30pm).
Shoppers, who will be able to get autographs and have their photograph taken with the players, will be given a free Glasgow Warriors Polaroid photograph as a souvenir.
Wednesday 27 February – accreditation deadline, 5pm – Members of the media wishing to attend the Glasgow Warriors’ Magners League game against the Ospreys on Friday 29 February (kick-off 7:30pm) are asked to email Stuart Martin (stuart.martin@sru.org.uk) before 5pm today.
Thursday 28 February – Firhill Arena, 80 Firhill Road, Glasgow, G20 7AL, 12 noon – Glasgow Warriors head coach Sean Lineen will announce his team to play the Ospreys at Firhill Arena on Friday 29 February (kick-off 7:30pm).
Selected players will also be available for interview/photograph at this time.
Thursday 28 February – We plan media activity in Edinburgh mid-afternoon surrounding a joint NHS Lothian/Scottish Rugby initiative to encourage children to become more physically active. More details early next week.
Thursday 28 February – Sunday newspaper journalists will have interview opportunities with the Scotland squad to facilitate previews of the Calcutta Cup match. The media access is likely to be at Murrayfield late afternoon. Any requests must be sent by email to Graham Law (graham.law@sru.org.uk) by 5pm on Tuesday.
