Howlett set for Munster debut

New Zealand winger Doug Howlett is set to make his debut for Munster in their crucial European Cup Pool Five clash against Clermont Auvergne on Sunday.

Howlett has been training on the left wing, with Brian Carney on the right and Shaun Payne at full back because of the unavailability of Ian Dowling, due to injury, while Anthony Horgan is struggling with a hamstring strain.

Howlett was named in a 26-man squad that included recent injury victims Paul O'Connell, Alan Quinlan and Federico Pucciariello.
