Former England fly-half Stuart Barnes believes one of the greatest challenges facing new Wales coach Warren Gatland is how to use Gavin Henson.
Barnes believes Henson’s talent should make the high-profile Ospreys back an automatic selection for Wales.
“Henson is a gifted rugby player. He is also one of the biggest problems facing new Wales head coach Warren Gatland,” he said.
“Gatland’s position on him will be one of the earliest tests of his management skills.
“To leave Henson out is no simple matter. It is, in fact, the Celtic version of the Jonny Wilkinson issue where form and fitness are no more part of an intelligent debate.
“There are more pressing issues for the Kiwi, but none of so delicate a political nature as what to do with Gavin.”
