Martin Corry
Corry refuses to blame Goode
24 December 2007, 2:49 pm
By Tim Sanderson
Leicester Tigers skipper Martin Corry refused to point the finger of blame at team-mate Andy Goode after his missed penalty kicks in the 20-14 defeat to Sale.

Goode cost Leicester dear by spurning four of his side's seven conversion attempts, but Corry preferred to focus on the bigger picture.

"It's easy to point the finger and you can point a finger at lots of things," Corry told BBC Radio Leicester.

"We gave them opportunities, and there were some marginal calls which they got which gave them opportunities.

"But everything mounts up - especially when it's a close game. Everything plays an important factor."
