Scotland experience ticket frenzy
21 December 2007, 5:28 pm
By Tim Sanderson
Scotland have experienced massive demand for tickets for their clash with France in the RBS 6 Nations on Sunday 3 February 2008.
Tickets are no longer available for sale to the public, although additional tickets will be available on 9 January 2008 when debenture holder applications have been processed.

Gordon McKie, chief executive of Scottish Rugby, said: “It’s fantastic news and very encouraging to record such a huge demand for tickets before Christmas.

“We believe a big factor in the increased demand is the improving performances and results of the national team in recent times.

“Our squad is delighted that Murrayfield will be packed with so many Scottish rugby supporters cheering them on.”
