Moody signs new contract

England World Cup flanker Lewis Moody has agreed a new two-year contract with Guinness Premiership champions Leicester.

Moody, 29, won his 50th Test cap during England's World Cup quarter-final victory over Australia in October, and he also played in the final against South Africa.

He made his Leicester debut more than 11 years ago, helping the Tigers land five Premiership titles and two Heineken Cup triumphs. He is closing in on 150 first-team starts.

Leicester forwards coach Richard Cockerill said: "Lewis is a world-class player and he has been playing consistently well for us.

"We are delighted that he has agreed a new contract."
