Ulster stick with same line-up
21 November 2007, 4:23 pm
Ulster's caretaker coach Steve Williams has kept faith with the 22 players who featured against Bourgoin for Friday's Magners League trip to Galway.
Williams is sticking with the same starting line-up and replacements as Ulster attempt to get away from bottom place in the table.

'We need to finish the job we started in France. It is up to the same group of players to do it,' said Williams.

'We all have a clear idea in our minds what we need to do on Friday night.'

Connacht, who are just one point above Ulster in the league standings, have not beaten their Irish rivals for almost two years.

Their coach Michael Bradley is waiting for fitness reports on a number of players before naming his side on Thursday.

Mel Deane comes back into the squad after missing the 75-8 European Challenge Cup win over Spanish Cetransa El Salvador through injury.

Andy Dunne, who joined Connacht at the start of the season but who has been out of action since suffering a knee injury in the pre-season clash with South Africa, is named in the squad and could make his competitive debut.

Another player who has successfully returned to club action from injury and is included in the extended Connacht squad, is former Irish international Matt Mostyn.

'It is great to see the likes of Andy and Matt coming back from long-term injuries as they will give us options at the back,' Bradley commented.
