Jones backing Henson

Ospreys head coach Lyn Jones is backing centre Gavin Henson for a Wales recall.

Henson, one of the stars of the 2005 Grand Slam win, missed the World Cup after failing to rediscover his best following injury.

But Jones has been impressed with the 25-year-old this season and feels he deserves another international chance.

I would be very surprised if he didn't come into the reckoning for the Wales squad,' Jones told BBC Sport.

He's been out for two years through injury and suspension and there were a number of other issues.

But he's been solid and has laid the foundations and is coming through the first period of that recovery I would say.

Wales face world champions South Africa in a one-off Test on November 24.
