Sale welcome back Scotland captain Jason White for the European Challenge Cup clash with Montpellier.

Mark Cueto also returns, and Sebastien Chabal has been passed fit to play after being replaced with a neck injury in the victory over Bath last week.

Sharks rugby director Philippe Saint-Andre said: 'We won this competition in my first full season here, and we are aiming to repeat this.

'The European Challenge Cup is a very important competition and gives a passport to the Heineken Cup.

'And it is not just a case of winning the group. We have to aim to win well to secure a home tie in the quarter-final stage.'
