Italy call on Del Fava

Lock forward Carlo Del Fava has been added to Italy's World Cup squad.

Del Fava had originally been pencilled into the squad only to drop out because of a knee injury.

However, after Del Favas 24-year-old replacement Fabio Staibano failed to prove his fitness, Italy coach Pierre Berbizier has relented and included the 26-year-old.

A statement on the www.federugby.it website confirmed that the Ulster player has now recovered from his injury.
