Italy's team manager Marco Bollesan is confident the Azzurri can reach the last eight of the World Cup, which gets under way in France in September.
Pierre Berbiziers side have been drawn in Pool C alongside World Cup favourites New Zealand, Scotland, Romania and Portugal, with the top two sides progressing to the quarter-finals.
From my point of view, Italy have never had a better chance to qualify for the knockout stage than at this time, said Bollesan.
To be honest, after playing the first game against the All Blacks, we are going to face two beatable teams in Romania and Portugal.
Certainly we have a great respect for both Portugal and Romania, but if we play as we did in the last RBS Six Nations tournament I dont think they have a great chance of overcoming our technical superiority.
Bollesan also believes the match against Scotland will be crucial to their success, but stressed the players fear no-one in the tournament.
The last match against the Scottish could be set up to be an unbelievable game - it could be like a final, with both teams aiming for a spot in the next stage, he added.
I personally believe we can beat them again as we did a few months ago at Murrayfield.
Our boys are really looking forward to this World Cup and we want to go as far as possible irrespective of which opponents we have to face.
We are going to make a huge impact in this competition so all our rivals must respect us, and that includes the mighty All Blacks.
