Scotland and Perpignan scrum-half Chris Cusiter has undergone keyhole surgery to repair some minor damage to his left knee.
Cusiter, who celebrates his 25th birthday on Wednesday, went under the knife on Tuesday.

The operation was carried out by surgeon Gordon McKay at Ross Hall Hospital in Glasgow.

Scotland team doctor James Robson said: “Chris has had several weeks of increasing discomfort in his knee.

“As a result of which he underwent keyhole surgery last night to correct a small tear in his cartilage and to divide a fibrous band that had formed in his knee.

“He will now follow a short period of modified training and rehabilitation with the aim of being restored to full fitness within three weeks.”
