Scrummaging coach Phil Keith-Roach - a key member of England's 2003 World Cup support staff - will end his full-time role with the Rugby Football Union next week.
Keith-Roach was Englands scrum expert for more than 100 international games up to May last year.
He will continue to work on a number of agreed RFU projects as an independent scrum consultant, but ceases to be a full-time Twickenham employee by mutual agreement.
He said: My involvement with the England rugby team over the last 11 years has been a fantastic experience.
I am proud to have been a member of Englands World Cup-winning coaching team and to have been Englands scrum coach for more than 100 international matches up to May 2006.
Since then, and as a result of changes in the England coaching set-up, I have been doing other things at the RFU and played no further part in the selection or coaching of the England scrum.
I now look forward to taking on new challenges.
RFU elite rugby director Rob Andrew added: Phil has been a fantastic coach with the England team and helped a lot of players throughout the age groups during his 11 years with the RFU.
He has been a valued member of staff, and his legacy with England will quite rightly be the excellent work he did with the front row during the 2003 Rugby World Cup.
