Dominici to sign new contract
22 April 2007, 10:51 am
France winger Christophe Dominici is to sign a new one-year contract at Stade Francais.
The 34-year-old had hinted he could quit the sport after this year's World Cup, which is being held in France.

But it appears the 60-cap flyer will play on for another season at least.

Stade president Max Guazzini told L'Equipe: 'He wanted to stay and I wanted him as well.

'I always want the major players to stay at the club. In my heart, there was no question he would go.

'We don't have anything on paper, but we are in agreement. Between us, the spoken word is enough.'
