Week Five

It's a great result and another win for Italy. That's two in the same campaign and two in a row.
Its a great moment for Italian rugby in terms of an increase in enthusiasm for the sport in the whole country. Once again the newspapers and the TV are full of rugby which is really good.

The way things are going we will have to move away from the Stadio Flaminio if it continues like this because its not big enough any more.

The first half good was pretty good but we needed to think more and take better advantage of the chances we had.

Wales came back and we were put under a lot of pressure at times and the wind was a factor. We made a few mistakes and let them get back on top.

As for what happened at the end, it was madness. I dont know why they (Wales) went for touch. They took the risk and it meant victory or nothing - and they got nothing.

Mauro Bergamasco and Sergio Parisse were outstanding. Parisse has been able to play in his position all the time but Mauro has to switch a lot and sometimes we suffer because of that.

I think it will be very hard for Italy against Ireland because they are such a good team and in my opinion equal with France; remember they had key injuries when they played the French.

In normal circumstances Ireland are a better team than us - but you never know.
