Italy coach Pierre Berbizier has urged his team not to rest on their laurels when Wales visit Rome in the RBS 6 Nations on Saturday.
The Azzurri clinched their first-ever away win in the competition last time out when they ran out 37-17 winners over Scotland at Murrayfield.
Next up are Gareth Jenkins Wales, who head to the Stadio Flaminio having suffered three defeats in the Six Nations so far but on the back of their most encouraging performance to date against France on February 24.
Berbiziers 24-man squad on Monday began preparations for Saturdays fourth RBS 6 Nations encounter in Rome, and he is expecting a difficult test.
The Frenchman told www.federugby.it: Wales will be coming to Rome to win the game, but we will battle them all the way in an attempt to get the two points and continue our positive exploits in this RBS 6 Nations.
We beat Scotland, but we must be careful not to approach Saturdays game with too much euphoria. At the same time, though, we will not be fearful of the Welsh team, even though we know they deserve our full respect.
